Skedds started his internet adventures many many years ago, as a spriter. Not the cool kind either, the kind that made sub-par edits of game sprites and never really finished anything. At this time his home was at the Mystical Forest Zone Forums, a hangout for spriters and fans of Sonic the Hedgehog. Here he learned many things, but most of all it was his introduction into the world of pixels.

Through his spriting, he learned about pixel art. In early 2006, he joined the pixel art community, Pixel Joint. The crowd here was a lot different than what he was used to, they were a lot tougher on him than the folks of the forums he was so familiar with, but they were only trying to help. During this phaze, we'll call it the "n00b" phaze, he was also introduced to web design, and by web design I mean basic HTML.

Through lots of practice, he got better at both. Not great, but better. About a year later, he realized, that he, was in fact, a total n00b. And he admitted defeat. And from this defeat, he arose anew. Is sounds really epic, but all he really did was make up a new name. Now he was Skeddles. Yeah, me. Over the course of the next few years, not much more happened, though I must say, I got better. I got more popular on DeviantArt.com for my pixel art, so far being featured multiple times with daily deviations and news articles, and recieving much positive feedback on other websites.

During all this, I also explored many other areas of creative expression, such as programming (is that creative?) in Game Maker as well as Visual Basic, more advanced web coding such as asp, php and css, and lastly making music. Sometimes it seems like I know so much, but quick change of perspective shows how little I actually know. No matter how much I know, there will always be more to learn.
